The original EMPIRE opened in November 2001 in the West End of Adelaide

by Alec and partners.

With a vision of combining both social and competitive play with great music in a relaxed atmosphere, Alec and partners took the opportunity in 2001 to bring 8 Ball to the City.

Starting with sixteen 8 ball tables, fourteen 9ft tables and one snooker table, over time Empire has evolved to a mix of American 9 ball, pub size 8 ball and Chinese snooker tables catering for social players, families, students and competitive players alike.

The new Empire Bar & Pool enjoys twelve (pub size) 8 ball tables, sixteen American 9 ball tables and two Chinese snooker tables, with the addition of booth seating boasting an exciting new atmosphere in an underground setting just off North Terrace.

With areas for hire and catering available, Empire is perfect for after work drinks, corporate team building, parties, or just meeting up with friends.
